I have been waiting for this film to hit streaming services for a year because I just KNEW there was gonna be some gay shit in it, as a fan of both maddie and jenna when I found out they were doing a movie together and saw the promo stuff for it when it came out at Sundance last year, my little gay heart was jumping for joy and desperate to watch it because my username is literally I need ships, so I was DYING waiting for this movie
Now all gay shit aside, this was genuinely such an amazing movie, I haven’t watched a movie this good in a long time, the way it impacted me internally is the same way reading looking for alaska and playing life is strange made me feel, definitely not the same level though, same feeling, lower level of it
I genuinely hope this movie gets golden globe and Oscar noms. People hate on jenna so much for no reason, they hate that she’s in the new scream, they hate that she’s the new Wednesday, and for what? She’s genuinely such an amazing actress and she’s drop dead gorgeous
